Nyosi Wildlife Reserve
Whether you wish to escape and relax, or to explore and reconnect with nature, Nyosi Wildlife Reserve caters for both the discerning and the adventurous.
Nyosi Wildlife Reserve is a pristine nature and wildlife reserve located at the heart of what conservation icon Dr Ian Player once identified as the "new wilderness frontier".
Nestled by urbanisation and set within an expansive 2 500-hectare land parcel, the reserve is made up of five of South Africa’s nine indigenous biomes sprawling across rolling and picturesque plains and valleys; lands which host a natural sanctuary to an abundance of wildlife, plains game and birdlife.
Fresh fynbos-scented air, a picture-perfect scenery, and free-roaming wildlife all come together to provide a unique indoor/outdoor experience for visitors of all ages.
Nyosi Wildlife Reserve offers not only the tranquillity brought about by being surrounded by nature, but also a variety of family-friendly entertainment options that allow its guests to relax in a natural and safe environment, and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

The view was beautiful and the waiters and hospitality manager were really friendly. I did however feel that food wise you were not up to standard. There was no decaf coffee available , the portions differed on each persons plate . You website states a continental breakfast and we were given an English breakfast and when we asked for something sweet we were given dry brownie chocolate cake . We don't mind paying for the extras but they should at least be available.

The salad was fresh, the fish was a good size and grilled to perfection (not dry). Of course the chocolate larva dessert was off the charts. Presentation pleasing.
