Definitely worth a visit. The enclosure is large, the needs of the animals are taken into consideration and the detailed information on each cat was impressive.

Panthera provided the opportunity to get up close to the big cats. We were especially excited to see the lions , leopards and caracals and were very surprised to see the tigers . Our guide was very knowledgeable and showed her own love of these animals which had mostly been rescued from zoos and circuses around Africa and the world. The sanctuary is an easy drive from Hermanus near Capetoen and is great value for money. We can highly recommend this tour for families, children will really love being so close but still safely behind wire .
