It was incredible to be so close to the elephants. They are beautiful and intelligent. We could see the care they receive from the trainers and the special bond between them. Thank you to the staff and the guides. Everyone is so helpful and kind. We felt very spoilt being at the elephant sanctuary.

We took some overseas guest who found the experience memorable to the point of being quite emotional interacting with these gentle giants. We were in a small group. James our lead guide was great with information and happy demeanour. Fantastic. The handlers gave confidence and have been with the elephants for most of the jumbo's lives. A really terrific experience. Just don't behave with a lack of respect to these creatures. Some overseas guest behave as if it is Disneyland. It isn't. It's Africa.
