This was my third visit to the Elephant Sanctuary. It is a sensory and sensual experience that is difficult to describe in words. These gentle giants elicit emotions and awareness that makes me feel so in awe of creation. To interact with the elephants, to actually touch them and be touched by them was a spiritual encounter. Their size in comparison to the soft, warm way they hold your hand...amazing. The passion of their caretakers was also heartwarming, they gave us good information, but most of all inspired us with their relationship with the animals.this was definitely not my last visit.
