White River is an access point to the famous Kruger Park, where you’ll almost certainly see all of Africa’s Big Five through a wide range of game viewing options. Whether hiking, sightseeing, biking or horseback riding, White River offers to be a base for endless adventurous exploration elsewhere in the area.
White-water tubing (‘geckoing’) is popular in the area too – an exhilarating way to discover the town’s namesake. Quad biking, paintball and archery make for great team activities. It’s also close enough to both Swaziland and Mozambique for cultural experiences and day drives beyond the border.
