If you're planning a day visit to Pilanesberg National Park, we can arrange to meet you at the Bakubung Gate, which serves as the entrance to Pilanesberg National Park. We also have a pick-up from the various hotel reception areas within Sun City Resort, including the Palace Hotel, Cascades Hotel, Soho Hotel, Cabanas Hotel, and Cabanas Bush Bungalows. Additionally, pick up guests from the Sun Vacation Club Reception situated at Sun City Resort.

Itinerary: Depart from Sun City Resort Day 1 - 3 hour Safari Drive Pilanesberg National Park Depart on a captivating 3-hour safari drive departing from Sun City or Bakubung Gate to the remarkable Pilanesberg National Park, where you’ll be accompanied by a certified wildlife tour guide. Throughout your safari drive, you can expect to encounter a fascinating array of wildlife, including the renowned “Big Five” – lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffaloes, alongside a diverse cast of animals such as zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and countless bird species. Your expert field guide will provide engaging commentary, offering insights into the park’s ecosystem and the behaviors of the animals you encounter. The open-top safari vehicle provides an unobstructed view of the landscape, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the breathtaking surroundings. You can choose 5:30am to 8:30am sunrise safari, 9am to 12pm mid morning safari or 16pm to 19pm sunset safari. Return Sun City Resort
