The Amakhala "Half-Day Guided Big 5 Safari - Lunch Inc." safari was fantastic. We drove around the wilderness in an open-top off-road vehicle, which was an incredible experience. We encountered lions, tigers, giraffes, rhinos, zebras, monkeys, ostriches, several species of turtles, numerous deer and pig-shaped animals, and other animals and birds up close. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the field. We highly recommend this safari.

I had my dates mixed up and arrived a day before my appointed day. The team accommodated us without breaking stride - this is very much appreciated. It was an exceedingly hot day which made viewing of animals tricky, but we had some lovely sightings and it was refreshing that the ranger could give information about lesser "spectacular" species like birds and reptiles. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and the typical Eastern Cape hospitality at the lunch along with a well prepared and presented meal was the perfect conclusion to a fantastic day. Thank you very much.
