The safari was a great experience overall. We were able to see quite a lot of game and especially the waterhole at the restaurant site was great! The lunch was nice but a very small portion. And after lunch, even though we booked the full day tour, there was not much additional time and with the fact the we had to drop the half day tour guests, we were so far from the rest of the reserve, that we felt the guide also just wanted to get back and be finished. That was a bit disappointing. But overall, it was a nice experience.

Beautiful park. Fortunately, it didn't feel like a zoo, which is something you sometimes hear about private safari parks. Because of this, we weren't able to tick off all of the Big Five animals. Perhaps that's actually a good thing, as it is nature! A perfect reason to come back again. Our guide was knowledgeable and very patient.

We had a great safari drive with Ambi. We had the vehicle exclusively to ourselves and Ambi was very knowledgeable of all the animals and the countryside. He asked what we wanted to see and then set about fulfilling our wishes. Rhinos, lions, zebra, mongoose, so many antelope, wart hogs, giraffes and hippo. It was only the cheetah who escaped us. The lunch break was delicious and the staff very courteous and polite. The food was delicious if a little small in servings. The gift shop at the end of the safari has lots of excellent mementos to choose from a reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend the day safari with lunch.
