We have been on drives with Sammy before, he is very good at explaining, searching for the big 5 etc. I would always enjoy a drive with Sammy.

It is always a pleasure to do a game-drive plus dinner. Although the bush is very dense, we saw some animals and the lion's are beautiful.

The safari experience booking procedures and assistance were excellent. Going back to Khaya Ndlovu after a previous stay was a pleasure as the place looked very well kept and the gardens perfectly manicured. The interiors retain their charme and elegance. The outdoor areas are stunning. When we arrived we were coldly received by a lady who was busy setting up the tables for dinner. We then moved to the open game drive vehicle. We were 6 guests on board. The drive was fast and uninformative. One guest asked a couple of questions but the rangers did not have an answer. We saw rhinos, a kudu and the ever present impalas. We totally understand that sightings are unpredictable and not guaranteed, especially at this time of the year. However we did not receive information on birds or trees. In all fairness, having been on several game drives, regretfully, this one was a disappointment. We returned to the Manor at 07:10 p.m. the guide kindly gave as a pass number for the main gate and accompanied us to the wildlife parking lot outside the manor gate. It was pitch dark. Not a single indication to the exit. Luckily we made it to the main road.

We had a stunning drive, with Ilsa & Harry. They took their time, explaining Flora and Fawna as at first it was quiet. Then , the absolute best, Wild dog, Lion, Male and Female and Cheetah! Again the breakfast was stunning.
