Johnny was an incredible guide. He shared so many different insights to the history and culture of Durban and the region. The combination of walking and local bus use got us around efficiently with just the right amount of time to amble and take things in. He is clearly a thoughtful and considerate person who makes sure his guests are treated well by all while offering perspectives of Durban's past and present. I felt like I was walking around with a favorite, connected family member who was sharing his favorite topics and genuinely wanted me to have and understand the life of local people. I highly recommend Johnny/ Spot On as a resource for visitors to this area as I have no doubt he will make one's experience memorable and enjoyable.

Johnny was an excellent guide. Well informed, interesting and enthusiastic. We all learnt so much about South Africa. It was great to be able to visit the local markets and at the end, enjoy Bunny Chow by the ocean. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Durban/Umhlanga Rocks. Thank you and well done! The only thing that may need to be mentioned to participants (in advance) is the visit to the 'cow head' kitchen. Our group found it very interesting, but vegetarians/vegans would probably not want to see it.
