Sandboarding is a great new adventure sport! All it takes to sandboard is a positive attitude, a splash of sunscreen, a few basic instructions and you will be blasting down a sand dune in no time at all. Anyone can enjoy sandboarding as long as you are fairly physically fit. Sandboarding Cape Town offers tours and trips primarily in the Atlantis dunes of Western Cape, South Africa. We also transport you straight into the dunes in our 4x4!

I took my 2 14 year old boys for the Ultimate Sandboarding experience with Sand Boarding Cape Town. They had an absolute blast, and even as a spectator, I thoroughly enjoyed the day. 2 hours was just right. While the setup is pretty basic, it was actually more than I had expected, with shade, camping chairs and carpets. The 4x4 escort back up the dune is a must, for not very much extra, it means you can maximise the fun time, without getting more tired than is necessary! The staff were encouraging, safety conscious and very hands on, all lovely people, who enjoy helping people have fun. The dunes were amazing, and a first for this CT local! I would say, a must do activity for locals and tourists. While the area was pretty busy, this team has a cordoned off area, so you feel isolated, safe and secure. I would say take plenty to drink, definitely some snacks, possibly even sugary/ energy giving ones! We were next to a birthday party who had cooler boxes, party packs, and a boom box, which made it a great atmosphere.
