Kurland Park Horse Trails is situated on the outskirts of the beautiful Plettenberg Bay area. Our trails offer a combination of hidden forest paths, water crossings, long cantering stretches and breathtaking mountain views.
Enjoy a stroll along the Hol river, through the ever-changing landscape of indigenous forest, farmlands and diverse eco-systems of unspoilt fauna and flora complimented by the aromatic smell of fynbos and calls from the many different bird species.
Add passionate guides, a stable of exceptional horses and you have the makings of an unforgettable riding experience that will leave you wanting more. From bombproof to energetic, we have horses and trails to suit beginners to advanced riders, to kids and adults.
All our rides are accompanied by trained, enthusiastic guides who will ensure that you are matched to the right horse, and that the basic commands are explained to you. Beginners will be assisted throughout the ride while more experienced riders will have plenty of opportunity to trot and canter along the route.

Absolutely wonderful experience, well trained horses, breathtaking landscapes and our guide MacDonald was super nice. We were only two people on the ride -- one beginner, one advanced, so I was given the opportunity to take a faster spin around the big open field by myself while my boyfriend remained safely with the guide. Thanks for the amazing ride!

We are very novice riders and we went on the 1 hour excursion. The horses knew what they were doing even if didn't. What a great time we had, the weather was blowy and wet but we still enjoyed every minute. The horses looked in great shape and the guides and team at Kurland clearly put the horses welfare as a priority. Thoroughly recommended!

Indescribably wonderful! I booked spontaneously the evening before and was alone in the morning. The owner welcomed me very warmly, and the booked tour went ahead, even though I was alone. The horse, the tour, and the guide were fantastic. I was able to make full use of my riding experience, trotting and cantering before we continued into the forest, where baboons greeted us. A fantastic experience! An incredible landscape, a magnificent view over the vast countryside. Incredibly peaceful. The whole tour was simply balm for the soul[?]?
