Whale Watchers in Hermanus offers you the chance to experience the rush of a close encounter with the planet’s largest mammals, a memorable experience that will open up a whole new world. Our permits allow us to get 50m from the whales and often when they see us, their inquisitive nature brings them closer.
The Whale Watchers’ boat has capacity for 36 passengers and is completely wheelchair friendly. The vessel is fully equipped and the twin hull provides superior stability ensuring your safety and comfort. Our Whale Watchers guides and crew are SAMA registered, highly experienced and multilingual.

Excellent experience. The guides were very knowledgeable and had lots of fun facts. They were very professional and wanted to ensure we had the best experience possible. Thankfully we saw 2 separate lots of whales. The first pair we stayed with for a out 30 mins.
