The main focus of the interaction is to promote elephant conservation through up-close education to teach visitors that elephants should be treated with care, respect, and consideration.
Visitors have the exclusive opportunity to observe the herd in close proximity, learning more about their behavior, unique character traits, incredible story and what it entails to take care of them.
The experience takes place while the elephants are in their natural environment with great photographic opportunities.

I've always been very sceptical about this kind of activity --- but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. This was by far the best experience I've had in Hoedspruit. The team is incredibly professional and, most importantly, respectful towards the elephants. You can truly feel the love and care they have for these magnificent animals. This doesn't feel like a zoo at all --- it's an intimate, respectful encounter where you get up close and personal with each elephant. This is an absolute must-do in Hoedspruit. We loved every single minute spent with them!
