The main focus of the interaction is to promote elephant conservation through up-close education to teach visitors that elephants should be treated with care, respect, and consideration.
Visitors have the exclusive opportunity to observe the herd in close proximity, learning more about their behavior, unique character traits, incredible story and what it entails to take care of them.
The experience takes place while the elephants are in their natural environment with great photographic opportunities.

I just loved my visit to Elephant Moments. I've been a HERD supporter for a bit now and I absolutely love what they do. Each and every one of the elephants in the herd has become like a family member. I love their stories, their interactions, and the way they live their lives. It was a very emotional experience to meet 3 of the eles in person, to see in person the elephant shelter that I have been seeing on YouTube for years, and also to meet the carers who love and care for these animals like their own family. I loved interacting with Sebakwe, Somopane, and Jabu, feeding them some delicious treats, and getting some pictures with them as memories to last until the next time I visit. The carers were so kind and generous with their time. I loved meeting Tigere, Last, Emmanuel and Joshua. I absolutely enjoyed every minute there and can't wait to go back and see everyone again.

Thank you for the most unforgettable and amazing experience of our lives!! Our family was blown away by the Elephant Moments experience, and for all of us this ranked as the highlight of our entire trip. The privilege and majesty of being so close to these beautiful animals, and the amazing knowledge and caring of the the staff and carers at HERD Trust, was unforgettable. We love the work that the HERD Trust does, and hope that it continues for many decades. We will definitely visit again!
