We were a group of 6 and we had a lovely time. Melissa & Darlington were amazing. There were 3 different groups of people on the bus and after 1 stop it felt like 1 big group. Great conversation and fun throughout the day. Sadly due to very slow service at Diemersdal nobody had time to purchase wine there, but the other stops went very smoothly.

From start to finish, it was a beautifully curated experience that combined breathtaking scenery, exceptional wines, and warm hospitality. The safari-style setup added a unique twist to the traditional wine tasting experience. Traveling between estates in an open vehicle allowed us to truly appreciate the natural beauty of the valley --- rolling vineyards, mountain backdrops, and even sightings of local wildlife. It felt immersive, adventurous, and wonderfully relaxing all at once. Each estate we visited had its own character and charm. The staff at every stop were knowledgeable and passionate, offering detailed insights into their wine-making process and the unique terroir of Durbanville. The wines themselves were outstanding --- elegant whites, bold reds, and a few delightful surprises like MCCs and boutique blends. What truly stood out was the personal touch and attention to detail. Our guide, Melissa was enthusiastic and incredibly well-informed, sharing stories that brought the history and personality of the region to life. Whether you're a seasoned wine lover or just looking for a memorable way to explore the Cape Winelands, this safari is a must. It's a brilliant combination of adventure, luxury, and indulgence. I left with a deeper appreciation for Durbanville wines and memories I'll cherish for a long time, as well as a few new friends we made on the safari. We will definitely be back to do the other route. Highly recommended!
