More about Vinebikes - E-Bike Wine Tour

There has never been a better way to experience the Winelands than on a bicycle and now electric bicycles make it even more enjoyable and accessible to the whole family. You have the advantage of soaking up the scenery and surroundings at your own pace while not spending much energy as your e-bike assists you in pedaling.

This Tour includes visits to the following wine farms; Wine Farms: Thelema, Zorgvliet Wine Estate, Oldenburg Vinyards

Your Guide will assist you in understanding your e-bike as well as adjusting the seat post and handing out helmets. Then you will depart on your tour starting at the beautiful Banhoek Lodge.

You will cycle on a safe picturesque farm road and visit 3 wine farms where you will have time to shop, do a wine tasting or have coffee (on your own account)

The highlight if the tour is where you will cycle your ebike into the Banhoek Valley with the majestic Drakenstein Mountains in the background to a Wine Farm that is tucked away at the end of the valley called Oldenburg. Here you can enjoy a wine tasting experience with canapes while soaking in the views. (tasting is on your own account)

After your wine tasting, we will head back toward Banhoek Lodge for our final Wine Tasting very close the are departure point.

Additionals can be added such as Child Half Wheeler at additional cost, don't miss out.

There will be plenty of time for pictures and shopping!

Tony

A fab little wine tour on bikes. More wine tour than bikes, so v relaxed. One of our party had a puncture which meant that we lost some time, however I was delighted to see that it was just extended to make sure we didn't miss out. Overall very good. Highly recommended.

It was a very nice afternoon! Thanks to the guide who guided us safely through the mountains and roads, I was able to fully enjoy the view and the delicious wines!

Sahbi

This was the best tour! Great Bikes, but especially out guide made this an unforgettable trip. He shared so mant great historical and pwrsonal stories and he was ok with asking a lot. The scenery was stunning. Viking throug the vineyards of Tokara. Hello??!! We loved it. And the winestops were the best. We stopped for tastings at Rainbows end and tokara and both were very good and informative. Thanks once more for this amazing afternoon, highly recommended!!!

John Horton

This was one of the best activities that we enjoyed during our stay in Africa. Rylan our guide was engaging and knowledgeable. He is obviously a keen mountain biker and was able to change the ride so we did some off roading in the local reserve. We saw local antelope who seemed quite relaxed seeing other animals with 2 wheels. It also turned out that he is a sommelier and we had a great visit to the Tokara wine estate with an excellent wine tasting with our very own expert. Great value for money. Bikes were modern and worked flawlessly. Would highly recommend and would do it again if we get the opportunity.
