TOUR DESCRIPTION Tours depart from Vinebikes Trail Centre at Lanzerac Wine Estate. During the tour you will follow a free navigation app on your mobile phone that will take you on a 24 km picturesque route deep into the Jonkershoek Reserve. The e-bikes make this tour enjoyable for young and old alike as you are able to go further with less effort.
Tour route will elevate slightly once you enter Jonkershoek so that you can enjoy panoramic views of the reserve with majestic mountains towering on all sides. At the furthest point of the route you will cross a stream where you can fill your water bottle with fresh mountain water and even take a dip on a hot day. From here the route will follow the Eerste River which flows past Lanzerac that was your starting point.
Along the route you can expect to see the Cape Sugarbird on proteas.

WHAT IS AN E_BIKE E-Bikes makes this anybody’s adventure as you can go further and explore more! E-Bikes are bicycles integrated with a motor and a battery that assists the cyclist and allows them to cycle further with less effort.
THE ROUTE The whole route is on Jeep tracks and dedicated bicycle lanes and not technical. Perfect for the whole family.

It was fantastic. The service was great, the team is very friendly and overall we had a lot of fun being able to use the e-bikes with them! It was the first time a few of us used e-bikes and the instructor was very patient and kind with the whole family. Would totally recommend doing some tours with them if you haven't done it already!! Would totally do it again!

6 of us hired the e-bikes for an afternoon and we all absolutely LOVED it. I highly recommend Vine Bikes as their service and quality of bikes was great. We were 2 adults and 4 older kids, 20 - 16 years. Always amazing to find something we all enjoy! Make a booking. I'm certain you'll love it tooo ???

We rented e bikes for an afternoon cycle and visited Middlevlei wine farm. It was a lovely afternoon outing. The app we were told to download for the self guided tour worked really well and was easy to follow. One of the bikes wasnt working properly but Vinebikes were very responsive and efficient in resolving the issue. definitely something worth doing again!
