Plett Seal Adventures offers you a once in a lifetime encounter with wild marine mammals in Plettenberg Bay.
Come and live a unique interaction with the highly social and curious Cape fur seals. We’ll take you on a 1.5-hour journey in which we’ll share the beauty of the ocean, the environment, the history of Plettenberg Bay and the Robberg and a memorable 30-min immersion with these fantastic playful creatures.
Trips are dependent on weather and ocean conditions. We aim to inform snorkellers 24 hours in advance of trip cancellations. However, we reserve the right to cancel trips with shorter notice in case of severe or sudden detrimental changes in the weather conditions. Your safety is our priority. We issue full refunds or the option to rebook.
The scene for your seal snorkelling adventure is set at the foot of the Robberg Peninsula in the Robberg Nature Reserve and Marine Protected Area. Robberg Nature Reserve is a rocky peninsula with trails and the Stone Age Nelson Bay Caves. This area is home to a Cape Fur Seal colony of about 6000.
