More about Northern Namibia,

Explore Namibia’s Remote Northeast – 15-Day Guided Safari with Glamping Comfort

Venture off the beaten path and into the wild soul of Namibia on this immersive 15-day guided safari through the untamed northeast. This is not your typical tour, it’s an adventure designed for travelers who crave authentic, remote experiences with just the right touch of comfort and style.

Your journey begins in Windhoek and heads north to the striking Waterberg Plateau. Towering cliffs, panoramic views, and hiking trails await, the perfect warm-up for what lies ahead. From here, we leave the tar behind and head deep into Bushmanland, staying near Tsumkwe. Here, you’ll meet the Ju/’hoansi San people and learn about the world’s most ancient survival skills.

Next up: Khaudum National Park, one of Namibia’s most rugged and least visited parks. This is true wilderness. Deep sand tracks, wild elephants, and zero fences. But fear not, you’ll rest easy in glamping-style bush camps, with canvas tents, bush toilets, and open-air cooking under the stars. Adventure doesn’t mean sacrificing comfort.

For the ultimate experience, your group of 9 will travel in a convoy of 3 vehicles, each led by an experienced guide. This setup ensures a more intimate connection with your surroundings, more flexibility, and a richer, more personal guiding experience every step of the way.

From Khaudum, you’ll emerge into the lush Kavango region for a relaxing night at a riverfront lodge. Then it’s westward to Opuwo and the legendary Epupa Falls, where baobabs cling to the cliffs and the Himba people live much as they have for generations. You’ll visit a traditional village, take a riverside walk, and unwind in a lodge perched near the cascading water.

Following the Kunene River south, overnight near Ruacana, then venture into Palmwag, Damaraland’s rocky wilderness, home to desert elephants, dramatic scenery, and surreal sunsets. The journey wraps up in Okonjima Nature Reserve, where you’ll track leopards and connect with conservation at the AfriCat Foundation.

With a balance of wild glamping, cozy guesthouses, and private lodge stays, plus all the support of three professional guides, this journey is the perfect mix of off-grid adventure and tailored comfort.

Wild. Raw. Real. And ready for you.
