Given the current Covid-19 situation, kayaking with <a href="https://kaskazi.co.za">Kaskazi Kayaks And Adventures</a> is an ideal way to get out in the open air while easily maintaining social distancing. Our groups are limited to 12 guests and we meet on the beach at Three Anchor Bay for the safety briefing and launch so everything is in open air and it is easy maintain social distancing The small group provides a more intimate experience with a dedicated fleet of pirate themed kayaks.
We have the ideal location to launch and explore the Table Bay coastline from the sea providing unique and spectacular photo opportunities. We operate from the beach at Three Anchor Bay where all our kayaks are stored. From Three Anchor Bay we embark on a 3 – 5 km journey either towards Granger Bay or Bantry Bay.
The view of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain and the 12 Apostles is unforgettable. Uninterrupted views of our spectacular mountain range and the sea breeze will leave you feeling rejuvenated and hungry to taste more of what the Mother City has to offer.
The trip to Granger Bay takes us past the Green Point Lighthouse, the wrecks of the Seafarer and RMS Athens and to one of the favourite hangouts for our endemic Heaviside’s dolphins. They are common companions to our trips - particularly on summer mornings.
Booking is essential and all trips are weather dependent. Make sure you are contactable on the mobile number you supplied when booking. If we have to cancel, we will notify you by text message an hour before start time.
Please note our cancellation policy states 24 hours notice. If a "no show" occurs, a 100% forfeit

I recently planned a surprise trip for my husband's birthday early in September 2020 and it was truly amazing in all aspects. The booking and communication process with Richard was TOP NOTCH. The trip was run professionally and really informative and exciting. None of our group had ever paddled out at sea before, but the instructions from Dirk and Richard were perfect and we had a super experience. We spotted seals, penguins, a host of sea bird and cherry on the top was siting 2 or 3 pods of dolphins! The view of the Cape Town, the beautiful Table mountain and Lion's head, etc. was an excellent perspective from the water looking back. I highly recommend this experience and Kaskazi Kayak Trip and team!

This was the best experience to share with my best friend on her birthday. We struggled a bit with turning but got the hang of it really quickly. We saw sunfish, dolphins and penguins- super cool! The facilitators/ guides were awesome and super friendly, Dirk in particular! I highly recommend this experience, its well worth it.
