Hiking Lion’s Head is spectacular with a rewarding 360 panoramic views as advances to the summit. It is one of the three iconic peaks that surround the city of Cape Town. From the summit, you can cast your eyes over the city of Cape Town, Table Mountain Robben Island, the beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton, and the sparkling coastline along the Atlantic seaboard. The Lion’s Head Hike can take anywhere between two and three-hour return. The top is a magnificent spot for a picnic or to toast the full moon as it rises over the mountains to the East and to watch the sun setting to the West.

Wonderful tour! Definitely recommend having a guide- I think we got so much more out of our hike that way and made the most of our time in Cape Town. Plus the transfer service saves you from the extra hassle. Highly recommend this hike! We also did some of the Table Mountain hikes on another day but this one was definitely our favorite!

We went hiking Lion's Head in Cape Town with Joel. The trail is somewhat difficult and a little bit challenging in the last part when it comes to not so experienced hikers like ourselves. However, Joel was great, helped us a lot pointing out the easiest paths, showed really nice spots and explained a lot about the landscape, the plants and the animals. We had this great safe experience with him, who is always in a good mood, so we had this great views in very good company! Thanks a lot!
