Go Vacation - Penny Lotz

I have experienced Kaapse Stories many times, but I always say it is enjoyable every single time. It was my first 'real' experience in the new venue at the Rockwell, as the first experience was the very first show and there were some teething problems (including no working aircon). This time however, it was lots of fun and the food was as always amazing. The view of the stage is excellent but I still feel the venue seems a little smaller with little elbow room. I did miss Ebenezer at this particular show as there was another stand-in that I have not seen before. Thanks for a great experience and keep it going!

From the service to the show to the dinner, it was an amazing experience. Definitely will recommend that people come here for an experience of Cape Town Culture. What a blast!

I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Very talented actors and musicians and I enjoyed how the meals were incorporated into the show. The food was also very tasty and I enjoyed the new wine on offer from Boschendal. I highly recommended the theatre to both my colleagues and friends and will be sure to visit again when we have international visitors. Thank you for a great evening.

Thank you for a fun filled , fabulous evening of entertainment which was also super informative with regard to cultural history in the Cape. We will definitely direct our guests to this venue BUT one critique ........ we were one of the first tables to get our food from the buffet dinner and it was really ICE COLD . Not sure if the bain marrie's don't heat all the way to the top as the food was piled up high on them or if the food wasn't heated before putting into the serving dishes but that was super disappointing. We did tell the floor manager quietly but we got no response from him. Overall a good night of entertainment.
