Adventurous travelers looking for fun, sun, adrenalin and outdoor entertainment is sure to find this 3 hour sandboarding experience down the majestic dunes of Sundays River exhilarating.

This unique adventure starts with a scenic boat cruise on the Sundays River where you will see the local bird life feeding in their natural habitat. After about 10 minutes you will reach the famous Alexandria Coastal Dune field which is the largest, most impressive and least degraded dune field in South Africa – plus it overlooks The Addo Elephant National!

Sundays River Adventures offers you the chance to ride some of the biggest dunes in the Eastern Cape with a quick lesson on how to get started and equipment included.

Where:

Please arrive at our local restaurant A Taste of Africa, 33°41'28.1"S 25°49'35.0"E, next to the Colchester KWIKSPAR, at least 30 minutes before the starting time of your activity so you can sign in and we can get the activity started on time. Our tour guide will meet you at the restaurant, however if we have an activity already on the go, our management at the restaurant will direct you where to go to meet up with him. Please take note our location is about 40 km outside of Port Elizabeth on the N2 towards Grahamstown. We are situated about 5km from the South Entrance of the Addo Elephant national Park. Guests or Spectators:

R300 surcharge will be added if you are the only Sandboarding guest booked for this activity. Please email us if this is a problem for you. Spectators levy is R200 per person for those who want to watch or walk along the beach.
