Fullday: Triple A Trip
Agricultural School, Allesbest by Q & M Tours
Experience an agri-tourism day-trip. First, we visit the Merensky High School - founded in 1936, this school has historically played an important role in the local agricultural sector. Another historic gem is the Allesbeste farm, which is where we make our next stop. Currently run by the 4th generation of the Ernst family, the Allesbeste farm boasts as a forerunner in the advancement of a variety of new types of avocados, for example, their delicious Maluma avocado.
Following lunch, we make our way to the Amorentia Estate. The farm was bought in the 1950s by the Blight family and is now owned by Howard Blight. He established the kiwi industry in South Africa and played a significant role in establishing the farm as one of the most prominent macadamia nurseries on the globe.
