Enjoy a 30 minute guided horse-drawn vintage carriage wine tasting trail on a circular route on the magnificent Kay and Monty Wine Estate, sparkling wine on arrival, two wine tastings plus a snack served on the carriage as well as a vineyard stop.
This historic carriage used to do scenic tours around Cape Town’s Castle and our two magnificent Percherons are rescues from the Knysna Forestry Department where they used to work as logging horses.
What a special way to enjoy the award-winning wines at Kay and Monty Wine Estate!
See you soon.

Hello. Whilst we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, it was extremely short lived. I was spoiling myself and my friends for my birthday and @ R380 = R2,660, I was expecting a LOT more. The website advertises a 30 minute carriage ride and I was expecting a 30 minute carriage ride. Not a 6 minute carriage ride with two 24 minute stops - in paddocks - not even in the vineyards, which is advertised. The little tour we had, is in my opinion, worth R180 per person. So, Yes, I was extremely disappointed although I did not mention this to my friends. We just joked at how simple and short the carriage ride was. The horses are gorgeous and we especially went to Hog Hollow to feed the rescued horses carrots before coming through to Kay & Monty. The carriage driver, assistant and Buks were excellent - as were the snacks and wine provided. However, I reiterate, I was bitterly disappointed with paying R2,660 for something that was incredibly short lived and not even through the vineyards as advertised. (Maybe you could consider two prices, like the game parks? One for ZAR, the other price USD / Euro). Thank you.
