Enjoy a one hour fun and informative guided vintage horse-drawn carriage ride between Kay and Monty and Lodestone Wine Estates. Follow a country lane at the foot of the Tsitsikamma Mountains, flanked by local vineyards and polo estates. Upon check-in at Kay and Monty Estate, sip a glass of Champu sparkling wine and then board the carriage for the guided ride to Lodestone.
Taste two wines as well as locally grown olives, olive oil and Honeybush Iced Tea at Lodestone Estate before learning where their wine is made in a short cellar tour. Ride back to Kay and Monty on our vintage carriage behind two magnificent Percheron draft horses where an optional lunch is available at the restaurant overlooking the vineyards and polo fields at the foot of the mountains.

An absolute fantastic experience, Buks is by far the best guide we've met. We will definitely be going back .
My family and I had a fabulous time on our wine tasting carriage tour! The bumpiness of the carriage only added to the fun of the day. The tour guides were pleasant and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. I can wholeheartedly recommend this experience.
Your horses and carriage are just magnificent. Thank you , we had a really a super time - the duration of drive was not long enough for us girlies, only because my sister n I both drive horses and could have gone on all day !! Pinky and the lads made us most welcome and were so charming and helpful , obliging in every way possible , contributing to making our Carriage Trail Wine Tasting an unforgettable experience and one I would highly recommend It was an extremely hot day and it was difficult to find shade for the horses at Kathy n Monty whilst we had an enjoyable wine tasting , again made welcome. So being horse mad ,my sister her daughter and I were a little concerned for the comfort of the graceful kind and gentle creatures Lodestone was exceptional , a return visit is on the cards and in fact we will be regulars there in the future Thank you one and all for a wonderful and delightful experience
