Enjoy breathtaking mountain views from the Franschhoek wine tram’s blue line wine tour. The tour leaves at 10am and 11am on the tram bus and visits Mont Rochelle, La Couronne, Holden Manz, La Bourgogne, La Bri, Rickety Bridge and Grande Provence. The open-air wine tram wends its way through the vineyards.
Stay at each estate as long as you like, enjoying wine tours and tastings, before hopping back on the wine tram to the next stop. If somewhere really takes your fancy, linger for lunch before making your way back to the pick up point. There isn’t a better wine tour to explore Franschhoek’s winelands.

A really great way to visit the vineyards and sample South African wines without having to drive. The staff on the buses and tram were friendly and informative. The routes took in superb scenery. The vineyards were well organised and welcoming. A very full day but at a relaxed pace. Great value for money and if we return to Franschhoek in the future we will certainly repeat it particularly as there are now 2 routes and additional vineyards. Well done the Team!
My husband and I took our daughter and daughter-in-law out for a day of wine tasting and felt this would be a relaxing way to do it. It turned out to be great fun, gave us the freedom to enjoy the day hassle free. The driver was exceptionally helpful, especially with collecting our numerous boxes of wine along the way and returning them all at the end of the day. Another great aspect of the trip was being introduced to new Estates. We have since been back to two of the "new" estates and bought more wine. All in all a lovely way to spend the day!
We enjoyed the experience and friendly staff employed by Wine Tram. It was a bit disappointing that La Bri was part of the route but was closed. No alternative was offered. We love taking our friends on the Wine Tram as it is great fun. Looking forward to trying out your new routes. Keep it up!
