This eco marine safari includes a return transfer from Cape Town. On arrival in Gansbaai, you’ll listen to a short talk and safety briefing before your marine guide takes you out on your marine safari. The first stop is Dyer Island, where many birds, including the African penguin, live.
Your marine safari then heads out to geyser Rock to see the over 60 000 Cape fur seals that live here, and are hunted by great white sharks in nearby “Shark Alley”. You should also see Bryde’s whales, dolphins and other marine mammals in summer after the Southern Right whales have left the region.

It was a fun and well organized tour. We had a great time and got to see a lot of wild marine life. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable and and committed to help keeping the environment clean and safe. Our driver was very accommodating as well and made a stop to Hermanus which is a nice little town by gansbai where we had a chance to eat and shop around. Definitely recommend this tour.
It was good.

An excellent experience served by a professional team. The team has done a great job to guide through the tour and most importantly, keep us warm by setting up the curtain to avoid rains and winds blowing heavily into the vessel. Will definitely come again to see the whale and more importantly, to donate more for houses of penguins!

Really enjoyed the dyer island cruise. Lots of wildlife was seen. All staff were very knowledgable making a great excursion. Was very well looked after and would definitely recommend if shark diving isn’t top of your to do list!!
