More about Eco Marine Safari

This eco marine safari includes a one-way transfer to or from Cape Town. The safari leaves from Kleinbaai harbour near Gansbaai. After an introductory talk and safety briefing, you’ll board the Whale Whisperer with a marine biologist and head to Dyer Island, home to endangered African penguins.

The marine safari also takes you to Geyser Rock, home to over 60 000 Cape fur seals, which are hunted by great white sharks in nearby “Shark Alley”. In the summer months, you may also see Bryde’s whales and bottlenose and humpback dolphins. The focus of the marine safari is on conservation.
