Join our sunset Hike up Lion's Head and make friends from around the world while soaking up Cape Town's famous sunsets from the best vantage point possible! The hike up to the summit takes roughly 1.5 hours but passes many incredible viewpoints and the trail is very exciting in places! After enjoying the summit views and photo opportunities we will either enjoy the sunset up there or hike down to a quieter viewpoint. Once the sun sets we hike safely back down with head torches as the city lights start to glow beneath us.

Our experience was one of the highlights of our trip. Fatima was a great guide. We are not experienced hikers so having her around eased our anxiety. The hike itself I would describe as beginner-intermediate. The environment was always a little different so it didn't feel like we were just monotonously walking uphill. The top was an incredible view and watching the sunset away from the crowd was just the perfect end to the hike. I highly recommend doing this hike and don't forget to wear comfortable shoes!

Enjoyable hike up Lions Head, with a choice of routes depending on how good you are with heights. Some brilliant views both from the top and on the way up and down, of the city and also Table Mountain led by an experienced guide, who knew the spots for the best pictures. Would definitely recommend.
